I work in coin design for the National Bank of Poland, the Mint of Poland, and for the Treasury of the Mint of Poland. I also work with various issuers and mints located abroad.

I begin the design process with a substantive approach to the subject of a given work. The next step is the graphical design of the coin, which must be a fully developed artistic and technological concept. Further on in the process I move on to the plaster model. The technical parameter which is crucial to the coin’s actual production is the degree of its relief (from 0.8 to 2 mm), depending on the production scale of the model as well as the technology possessed by the minter. When designing a coin I make use of various technological solutions that open up new artistic possibilities in coin art.
